Taking Back Muskegon Inc.
We are a 24 hour youth crisis organization that is able to provide education, recreation and job development skills along with job opportunities and mentorship for youth in Muskegon county. Our goal is to operate out of a 24-hour center. This center will also provide the necessary mentor support system that at risk youth need to stay balanced and succeed.
Our vision
To create a 24-hour crisis and drop in center for at risk youth in the four "hot spots" of Muskegon County to offer resources, mentorship and safety for area teens.
Primary Objectives of the Program includes:
•Provide a safe meeting place for youth during the summer•Provides tutoring that fits their personal needs•Provide a disciplined environment where the kids are responsible for actions, encouragement, honesty, truthfulness and personal integrity.•Provide field trips which expose youth to different a cultures and life styles outshot Muskegon County.•Teach like skills such as etiquette, interviews, proper dress and common courtesy.
